The Assistant Site Manager will be responsible for assisting the Site Manager in the running of the site, overseeing building work, checking on specifications and all other matters relating to the day to day running of the development. This is alongside:
* Working with the Site Manager and supervising all direct employed staff and sub-contractors on the development.
* Assisting the Site Manger with the material deliveries and sub-contractors in line with the build programme and quality expected by Anwyl Homes.
* Keep an update on all deliveries that have arrived and inform the Site Manager of any shortages.
* Ensure that the show house area and site street scene are kept to the high standard expected of the Anwyl brand at all times and liaise with the Sales team on a weekly basis.
* Assist in ensuring that all plots are completed to the quality expected by Anwyl Homes.
* Assist the Site Manager with pre-handovers of properties with customers prior to legal completion.
* Work with the Customer care team to ensure that all maintenance matters are attended to in a fast and efficient manner.
* Ensuring that Anwyl’s health and Safety procedures are strictly adhered to at all times and liaise with Anwyl’s Health and Safety officer on site matters.
* Carryout any additional reasonable tasks that may be required from time to time and attend any meetings that will help you progress as an Assistant Site Manger.
* You may be required to carry out site cover elsewhere due to annual leave being taken.
* Progress to a point where you are capable of working on your own and have a good knowledge of all areas of the build.
The Assistant Site Manager will ideally have the following skills and experience:
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Able to lead a team
* Able to plan ahead and work proactively with building schedules
* A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Assistant Site Manager
